- Jazzing Things Up
-
- There are a number of things you can do using the programs available
- for your Amiga - you can add text, distort images, it's really quite
- extensive.
-
- Within the AVT system there are several simple things you can do to
- enhance images, and these are detailed in the file "ImageProcessing.doc"
- so we won't repleat them here.
-
- Additional operatons include generating a nice general purpose color bar,
- which is done by simply pressing the color bar button at the lower left
- of he control panel.
-
- You can add color bars and grey scales to either the top or the bottom of
- an image by pressing one of these two buttons, located at the bottom
- center of the control panel. Press the "H" or the "L" buttons to
- see the results - they do NOT automatically redisplay the images.
-
- Also, you need to keep in mind that both the color bar and grey scale
- generators pay attention to what mode you are in; If you are in a low
- resolution Robot mode, then images are defined as 120 lines total.
- Accordingly, the scales/bars are placed from line 112 to line 119 in
- the image. If you are in a Robot Hi-res mode, then images are
- defined as 240 lines total. The bars are placed at lines 232-239. If
- you are in a standard mode, then images are defined as 128 lines total,
- and the bars are placed in lines 120-127. Finally, in std hi-res, the
- bars are placed at lines 248-255.
-
- You control whether the bars are placed at the top or bottom of the
- image by pressing the blue arrow button just above the bars themselves.
- The arrow points at the edge of the image where the bars will be placed.
